We drove down to Tuscaloosa for the Alabama vs. Tennessee game day weekend which is always a blast! I am happy to report that the tide won – unfortunately that means the whole city smelled like cigars LOL. It’s a Tennessee game tradition so I guess I’ll let it slide this one time a year. But, I’m so happy we were able to meet up with some college friends! Tuscaloosa will always have my heart.

P.S. – every time Cameron wears these shoes he gets WAY more compliments than I ever will 😂 At least I can take credit for buying them for him hahaha

Off to carve some pumpkins with friends 🎃 👻

Dress and flannel are both from amazon! I grabbed this dress as a great layering basic for fall. You can easily add a flannel, shacket, or moto jacket over the top to stay warm. It is petite friendly, and I recommend sizing up (I’m wearing the S, but it comes in XS too!). The flannel is lightweight but still heavy enough for fall and into winter in the south. Get your true size for a slightly oversize fit.

With Any Sweater – Pair this suede mini skirt with any sweater for a classic and cozy look! Any sweater works as long as it can be tucked in.

Edgy – This is not my typical style, but I added a leather jacket over top of a bodysuit and I love it! Keeps you warm, and give the outfit an edge!

Dressy Thanksgiving – Add a crop top and button down for a dressier look! This would be a perfect outfit for Thanksgiving if you like to dress up for the holidays. You can also trade out the button down for a plaid flannel!

White Ribbed Cut-out Sweater – true to size (wearing S). It is very good quality and a medium weight – very thick but not overly fuzzy or hot.

Basic Beige Bodycon Mini Dress – size up (wearing S but also comes in XS). This is a great dress for laying this fall. Fits me perfectly (I’m 5’2) but there is a couple inches of fabric that you could pull down if you are a bit taller.

Matching Lounge Set – true to size (wearing S). It is not the softest ever, but it is decent quality for the price! Comes in several colors.

When you get the opportunity to go to a black tie formal ball, you take it!

About a week and a half ago, our friend Baylee reached out and told us about her alumni debutante ball that was coming up. She invited us to come, and of course we couldn’t turn it down! We love any excuse to get dressed up, and we wanted to support her since she was going to be performing in a dance at the event.

We thought about the logistics of attending, and we realized that we basically already owned black tie attire since we had gone to a Mardi Gras ball in Mobile, AL in 2019. The Mardi Gras ball was white tie formal, but I already had a gown (actually I have a ton of gowns in my closet from being in so many weddings last year!) and the only difference for Cameron was his coat and bow tie. So, he ordered what he needed from amazon (thank you prime shipping!) and we were set!

We ended up having such a blast at the ball with our friends – even though it was sort of last minute, it was totally worth it! If you ever get the opportunity to attend a ball, I highly recommend taking advantage of it!
