Abercrombie Spring Try-on Recap

March 13, 2020

Orange Floral Blouse: This top is absolutely STUNNING! It has 3/4 sleeves that are cinched and slightly see-through (I’ve been loving the see-through sleeve trend lately)! Also, the wrap and tie waist is fully functional so you can tie it as tight or as loose as you’d like. And I love that it has a clip at the chest, so it is not too revealing! It runs true to size, and I am wearing the XS.

White Lace Tank: Ahhh if you have been searching for the perfect little white tank, here it is!! I love white for spring, but it can be VERY difficult to find tops that aren’t see through. Well, not anymore…. this one feels thick and is double lined, so it’s not see-through AT ALL!! The lace detail looks expensive, and I love the fit (tighter at the waist and then flows out). It has adjustable straps too! I sized up to a S since I have a larger chest. However, if you have a smaller chest your true size would be just fine.

Medium Wash Denim Shorts: These shorts will surely be a staple in my closet for the next 6 months! I’ve been super into medium wash denim lately, and how cute is the raw hem?! These are a “mom short” style and have great coverage in the back. Also, they are high waisted which sucks your tummy in and makes them perfect for front tucking tshirts! I recommend sizing down one like I did (my normal size is a 25, but I got a 24 in these!).

Leopard Jacket: I can’t stop buying everything leopard LOL. I’m headed to a cabin in TN on Monday, so I needed a few warmer items to take with me! This jacket is a soft fleece material with pockets and a button up closure. I love the cinched bottom, and the length is perfect (shorter than normal but definitely not cropped!). It runs true to size, and I am wearing the XS.

Where we ate in Cabo!

March 12, 2020

We stayed in Cabo for 4 nights and ate so much good food! My family has been vacationing to Cabo since I was in middle school, and we’ve explored many different restaurants. Eventually, we found the ones we LOVE, so we always try to make a point to eat at as many of them as possible!

Toro Latin Kitchen & Bar – On our first night in Cabo, we ate ate Toro. Toro has a ceviche bar and serves tons of fancy and authentic latin dishes. We love the food here, but the atmosphere is really the best part! It is a rustic indoor-outdoor restaurant with a garden area, and they even have live music playing on the weekends!

Edith’s – On night two, we headed into the downtown part of Cabo San Lucas to Edith’s restaurant. We’ve been going to Edith’s since before I can even remember, and if I could only pick one restaurant in Cabo to recommend, it would be this one! Edith’s is basically a blend of traditional Mexican food and an American steakhouse! They serve everything from fajitas to steak to seafood and more! And again, the atmosphere is absolutely amazing!! It is completely decorated with traditional Mexican decor – tons of bright colors and patterns, and they even give you hand woven blankets to keep warm in the indoor-outdoor setting. And if you stay for dessert, order the Banana Flambe! They make it at your table and set it on fire right in front of your eyes!

Las Estrellas – This was actually a new stop on our restaurant list because it opened fairly recently (not sure when but definitely in the last year!). They serve Italian food, and if you know my family, you know that we are bread and pasta LOVERS! I was super excited to try this place, and it definitely did not disappoint. It’s also an outdoor restaurant with super cute string lights and fire pits! For dessert we gathered around a fire pit and roasted s’mores which I thought was just the most unique idea ever!

Flora Farms – Every time we go to Cabo, we visit Flora Farms! It’s a crazy sight to see because it’s obviously a farm full of tons of fresh plants and crops, but it’s located in the middle of the desert. When we first started visiting Flora Farms it was a small little family owned farm in the middle of nowhere! Now, it has expanded to almost double in size and updated it’s entire look to be more elegant and upscale. My only complaint is that it not very close to downtown or where we stay (about a 40 minute ride). Other than that, the food is fantastic and the atmosphere is very relaxed and has that small-town feel.

Those are all the restaurants we got to visit on this trip to Cabo but The Office is another one of my favorites located right on the beach! Hope y’all enjoyed this little recap of my vacay and definitely let me know if you try any of these places out!

Grey Leopard Paperbag Shorts: These shorts are super cute, comfortable, and come in tons of colors! They have pockets and are super flattering because of the paperbag waist, tie waist, and fold over hem! They run true to size and I am wearing the size XS. On sale for under $30!

Pink Polka Dot Dress: I love the blush pink color of this dress for spring and summer! It has adjustable straps and button detailing down the front. This is a fantastic “throw on and go” type of dress. It is petite friendly and runs true to size, so I am wearing the XS. On sale right now for only $20!!! I wish they had more colors because I would buy them all!

Old Navy Spring Try-On Session

March 3, 2020

[show_shopthepost_widget id=”3927988″]

Leopard Print Tee: Obviously I love everything leopard print haha! But this is a great tee to take into spring. The material is super stretchy which makes it really comfortable. Sometimes I find that tees can have strange sleeve lengths, but this one doesn’t! It’s super cute and easy to front tuck into jeans.

Red/Orange Pattern Blouse: The color of this blouse is absolutely stunning! This is the perfect blouse to carry from daytime to nighttime and from work to play! The v-neck isn’t too deep, and the cinched sleeves are a great detail. It runs true to size, and I’m wearing x-small.

Lightweight Striped Sweater: I love that this sweater is lightweight and able to transition into spring! I love that it’s a white sweater but not see through at all. That is so hard to find these days! The split hem also makes it perfect for front tucking into jeans or shorts, but you could also wear it with leggings. It runs true to size, and I am wearing the x-small.

Green Pattern Romper: I adore the color and pattern of this romper! Usually, I don’t gravitate towards this green color, but it’s perfect for spring. The material is a bit thin (just an FYI), so I would recommend hang drying it rather than putting it in the dryer. It is petite friendly, and I usually just let the top fabric fold over the waist a bit. It runs true to size, and I am wearing the x-small.

Cactus Tee: This is the perfect basic tee! I love that it has the cactus graphics, but they aren’t too overpowering. It’s also neutral with a pop of color which makes it so easy to match with almost everything. I sized up one to a small for a looser fit.

Camo Joggers: Okay these joggers are an absolute MUST! They are so so comfortable, and my gosh the camo is adorable. I love that the bottom is cinched so you can hike them up or wear them at the full length. They come in tons of other colors (I’ve had my eye on the blush too), and they run true to size so I’m wearing the x-small.

Red Jumpsuit: This red jumpsuit is perfect for a beach vacay or casual day out! The square neckline is super trendy right now, and the wide leg makes it super flattering for curvier gals! Andddd who doesn’t love pockets!!! It is true to size so I am wearing the x-small.

Orange Ruched One Piece Swimsuit: This one piece swimsuit is so so flattering! The ruching on both sides makes your tummy look thinner, and I absolutely love the square neck line. There is also medium coverage on the booty so you won’t be showing too much off. It comes in black and leopard print too which would be absolutely adorable! It runs true to size, and I’m wearing the small.
