If you have been following the blog for a while, you might know that blogging is not my full-time job. I work for a wholesale insurance firm, as a broker specializing in Cyber liability. I love my job, my coworkers, and the business atmosphere. Since I was young, I’ve always pictured myself working in a corporate environment, and one of the things I always looked forward to were the business clothes!

Last week was a long week of catching up on sleep after my 10-day vacation to the West Coast! We spent Superbowl weekend in Vegas, and then flew straight to Pebble Beach, California for the Pro-Am PGA Tournament. Needless to say, we had an absolute blast on our trip!
For those of you who don’t know, I love to read! I read about a book a week, so needless to say I do A LOT of reading. I’m constantly looking for good books. My favorites are psychological thrillers and murder mysteries. I love reading other bloggers’ posts on what books they’re currently reading, so I thought it was about time to put together a list myself. These are my top 10 books that I’ve read since this summer. Of course, these are in addition to Gone Girl and The Girl On the Train – I didn’t include those because if you haven’t read them yet, you must be living under a rock! (just kidding). For the record, these are all murder mysterious, so you have been warned!
1. Artis Oval Brushes – Guys, these brushes are a MUST HAVE! When they first came out, I saw beauty bloggers trying them out, but I couldn’t convince myself to buy one. I was using this Sigma foundation brush, which I absolutely love, so I wasn’t sure that needed to change it up. Well, Olivia bought me the large Artis Oval 8 for Christmas, and I have been hooked ever since. Seriously, I have not used a different foundation brush since. I cannot stress how amazing this brush is! I went ahead and asked for this 3-piece brush set for my birthday because I couldn’t get enough! They are pricey, but worth every penny. I highly recommend!
