I’m 24!

Today is my 24th birthday! It is so crazy to think about how the time flies. I’m absolutely loving this dress from Tobi!

Unfortunately, we experienced a terrible loss this last past weekend, causing unexpected flights and events to have the be arranged this week. Though I’m still working through the sadness, I can’t help but be grateful for this day. I have the opportunity to celebrate another year of life. Make sure to hug the ones close to you and appreciate each and every day!

In honor of today, I’m sharing 24 things you might not know about me!

1. I graduated college early. I finished in December of 2015.
2. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Business Management degree.
3. I have a full-time job as an insurance broker, specializing in Cyber liability.
4. My boyfriend, Aaron, and I have been dating for 4 1/2 years. We met at college in NC and moved to ATL together after graduation.
5. Aaron and I moved into our own apartment this past May.
6. Mia is actually my mom’s dog, but she is seriously like my baby.
7. I have an irrational fear of elevators.
8. I’m a complete introvert. Don’t get me wrong – I love hanging and going out with my friends. BUT, on a daily basis staying in with Netflix and pizza is the way to my heart.
9. My family owns a residency is Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. We go there at least once a year.
10. I’ll be in two weddings next year! I’m the maid of honor in my best friend, Emily’s, wedding. And, I’m also a bridesmaid in my cousin, Danielle’s, wedding. (Let me know if you want to see posts on how to be a maid of honor and whatnot!).
11. I want a dog so badly – and I’ve narrowed it down to four breeds! Pomeranian, Shih Tzu, Maltese, or a Yorkie. Any opinions?!
12. I do not have an appendix. I had appendicitis 3 weeks into my freshman year of college. I went to the hospital at 8am and had emergency surgery 6 hours later to remove it.
13. Olivia and I are always mistaken for twins everywhere we go, but we’re actually 4 years apart. (Who is older?! ;))
14. I read 2-3 books a month! My favorite genre are psychological thrillers.
15. One of my dreams is to write a fiction novel one day!
16. I studied abroad in England during college.
17. I’ve travelled to 12 different countries. Traveling is one of my favorite things to do!
18. I struggle with anxiety. No one is perfect. Always remember that things will get better.
19. I played in a bocce league during the spring and fall last year. Our team was terrible.
20. I’m a super picky eater. My diet basically consists of breakfast food (the best meal of the day), chicken, pizza, and chocolate.
21. I’m that person that sets 5 alarms to wake up in the morning. I have to set an alarm to remember to do anything.
22. I binge watch Netflix. These are the shows I’ve watched so far: Breaking Bad, Dexter, How to Get Away With Murder, How to Make a Murderer, Scandal, Sons of Anarchy, Blacklist, Stranger Things, House of Cards, Luther, Riverdale, and Narcos. I’m currently watching Shameless. I need more suggestions on what to watch next!!
23. I have an obsession with Bath & Body Works candles. My favorite scent is Vanilla Snowflake!
24. I’m a huge sports fan! I typically go to around 10-15 professional and college sporting events a year. Here are my teams: NFL: Panthers & Jets, College football: Alabama Roll Tide, Hockey: NY Rangers, Baseball: ATL Braves, Basketball: ATL Hawks, College Basketball: UNCW, Favorite Golfer: Jordan Spieth
