Makeup Shopping Spree

One of our favorite things to do is play around with makeup and try new looks, so we decided it was time for a makeup shopping spree! Pictured above are just a few of the items we picked up. Before we tell you about each product and tool, let us just say we are STRONG believers in the power of makeup. Feeling good about how you look will make you more confident, which will improve your overall attitude and outlook on the day. Because most of us use makeup daily, it is definitely worth investing in your products and tools (but that doesn’t mean you have to go crazy – there are absolutely some cheap but amazing alternatives!).

These makeup brushes are a perfect example of a cheaper solution. The brush featured on the left is a Real Techniques Powder Brush, which you can find here. The other brushes are EcoTools brushes for powder, blush, and foundation and you can find them here, here, and here. And y’all, they are all UNDER $10! You can’t beat that.

Next is the Neutrogena Shine Control Primer, which you can find here. This is a great face primer that will help your makeup stay in place, and it comes in different packages for different skin types. It’s under $15!

Finally, the Makeup Forever Mist + Fix is a must have! A few spritz of this finishing spray to your face when you’re done with your makeup and it’s like a miracle – your makeup will stay on all day regardless of the heat. You can find it here, and although it’s a little pricy coming in at $30, it’s worth the splurge!
