Happy Easter!! We’ve been enjoying the day with lots of family and friends, but here is a quick post since Easter calls for some adorable dresses.

My dress today was under $30 – you definitely don’t have to spend a fortune to look great. I have found that TJ Maxx carries cute and quality items.. you just have to be willing to shuffle through a few racks of clothes. This season, I’ve been obsessing over patterns. While I’m shopping, patterns are the first thing that catch my eye. I think they are perfect when you just want something that is easy going – most of the time the pattern looks beautiful on it’s own (sometimes you don’t even need to accessorize!). It’s THAT easy.

Spring is here!! Who else is excited? I can’t wait to break out the pastel colors, open toe shoes, shorts, and dresses! So, on camera this shirt looks blue, but it is really purple. I have no idea why the pictures are not true to color, but regardless I still love this shirt! It’s new to my closet (as are most of the pieces I wore out today!), and the back is so fun. I love a unique touch that separates a piece that would otherwise be pretty basic.
