We are moving to BIRMINGHAM ✨
After a year of driving back and forth from Atlanta to Tuscaloosa while Cam finished up his Master’s program… IT’S OFFICIAL!! Cam accepted a job in Birmingham & WE’RE MOVING!
If you’re new here… Cameron and I have been dating for 9 years! We went to high school together in Atlanta, and then both attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa for undergrad (roll tide!). In Dec 2019, I graduated early and moved back to Atlanta, while Cameron stayed 6 more months to finish up his undergraduate degree and 1 more year after that as part of a program to get his MBA.
Ever since then, we’ve been driving back and forth to visit each other on the weekends! Luckily blogging allowed me to have a flexible schedule, and the pandemic gave Cameron the opportunity to do school temporarily online which made the distance a little bit easier.
Cameron interviewed and accepted his new job in April, but work from home orders were still in place and he had his lease in Tuscaloosa until the end of July. As July crept closer, we started touring apartment complexes in Birmingham (where his job will be once the office reopens) and found the perfect one for us!
I will definitely be bringing y’all along through the move and home furnishing process, and I am so excited to explore different places in Birmingham!
I can’t wait to see where this new adventure takes us! 💗
